Mark plays a leading role in Equivico’s investment strategy and advancement of its social mission. He brings 20 years of credit and operational experience in lending platforms, credit funds, debt capital markets, joint venture structuring and compliance to the table at Equivico. Mark is currently Vice President of Operations at LoanStreet. He is the Co-Founder and former President of online small business lender Credibility Capital. He oversaw development of the company’s operational infrastructure and origination of fair and transparent small commercial loans below $250,000 nationally. He was previously a Vice President with the Credit Funds of Fortress Investment Group, where he structured acquisitions and dispositions of debt and equity transactions, as well as joint venture arrangements with strategic partners. Mark also counselled the Credit Funds regarding laws and regulations related to investments, and litigation and other adversarial matters. Previously, Mark was a corporate associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett after his clerkship for Hon. Richard L. Nygaard, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Mark holds a B.A., cum laude, from Princeton University and a J.D., magna cum laude, from Duke University School of Law, where he was a member of the Editorial Board of the Duke Law Journal.
